Featured Remodel Project -
Complete SW Cape Coral Home Remodel

Susan and Wayne Dewitt were referred to us by several past clients to do a complete home remodel in SW Cape Coral. The remodel consisted of removal of: all tile flooring, original kitchen - including removal of interior walls, master bathroom, guest bathroom, entry door and windows. We utilized several long standing trade partners such as Joe’s Plumbing, Perfect Connections Electrical Contractor, Level Line Custom Cabinetry, RIK Industries for Countertops, Preferred Tile, All Pro Painters, Bastos Pavers and Mr Cool HVAC.

After the final design and selections were made, we completed the demo and mocked up the cabinet, appliance and lighting layout on the floor with paint to allow our clients to walk thru the space rather than try to grasp the major changes on paper. We made some small suggestions and changes to make their seasonal home into their year-round piece of paradise.

The kitchen remodel required us to relocate underground plumbing and electric to allow us to add a sink and power to the new island to allow for the relocation of appliances.

We utilized LED recessed lights, inside cabinet, under cabinet and under island countertop LED tape lighting which offers an energy efficient way to illuminate work surfaces as well as general lighting without adding any additional heat to the home.

Beautiful Remodeled Kitchen

All plumbing fixtures in kitchen, master bathroom, guest bathroom and laundry were MOEN in satin nickel finish.

Crystal cabinets were installed by Level Line in the kitchen, laundry room, master and guest bathrooms.

A LED fireplace was added to the great room with custom cabinets made by Crystal with custom wood tops.

Level 5 granite countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms were milled and installed by RIK Industries.

We installed wood window sills and 3¼" colonial casing to all windows including the arch topped transom over the entry door and dining room window and 5¼" colonial baseboard throughout the home.

Flooring for the entire home is a moisture proof, high pressure, tongue and groove laminate product with attached padding/vapor barrier supplied by Taylor Carpet One.

Several windows were replaced with white aluminum PGT WinGuard insulated/impact/Low-E2 units.

The entry door is a custom Plastpro unit with ODL insulated/impact/Low-E2 inserts and Schlage Hardware.

The project took 30 days from demo to final clean and was ready for Susan and Wayne to move in when their Virginia home was sold.

We are proud to say that Susan and Wayne have been added to the list of completely satisfied fans of WDM Construction of SWFL!
